I've been running my Cube 80 XL into a Nashville 400 cabinet with a Neo Mag B/W speaker. Now the Cube's speaker is 8 ohms....and the B/W speaker is 4 ohms.I was told by a Forumite that the link socket on the back of the Cube is in "series" Does this lessen the power output or what?? it still seems "LOUD" .... The open back Nashville cab "spreads" more but the Cube from out front sounds a tiny bit louder...guess it's because it's closed back and very directional. Great sound though..a 12" and a 15" Very Happy

It will lessen output power, because the amp sees a 12 Ohm load. BUT that 60W (or so) should radiate more sound because it's pushing more air. And pushin' air is the name of the game.
