GaSGA Show #XXII June 8, Conyers (Atlanta), GA

Post by Bill Ferguson »

We are excited and ready for our Summer 2014 show, with a SUPER lineup of players.

Mike "Cookie" Jones will be making a return appearance, after 6 years. Mike does not play many steel guitar shows (except Nashville), so we are happy that he chose us to "get back in the scene".

Here is our flyer for the show.

We invite any that can, to "Come On Down".

Billy, wishing you all the success for a great and successful show. Sure wish I could be there also. Thanks for the invitation. We just cannot miss any of Betty's doctors appointments. She received two eye injections with the cancer fighting drug yesterday and more on the way. Keep up the good work and hope to see you in the near future too.

This is a test. Which of the regular GaSGA members does this apply to?
10 years with David Ball. Other artists traveled with are; Johnny Rodriguez, The Forrester Sisters, Cissie Lynn(Loretta's Daughter),Sara Evans, Buddy Jewell, and Joe Berry.

I am pretty sure (not pretty but fairly sure) that Steve played with Johnny Rodriguez too and a few more.

"Ridin by Thumb to Mexico" and many more

Sure wished I could be there this year but it is simply not possible - this is a great show with bunches of great people.

Wow, what a great show we had yesterday. Everyone was really on their game.
Mike Jones knocked us out with his superb picking.
Gordon Dodson added a new flair to the show.
Joe Turner is one of the best around.
Jeremy Drawbaugh, the kid, has perfected his playing.

Roger Crawford, Tommy Dodd, Steve Jones and Barney Miller really put on a show.

And not enough can be said about Wendel Gurley's singing. Just superb, now if he could just remember my name.

Sadly, Steve Walker had to cancel on Saturday night due to sickness in his family. But we will have him back soon.

Please visit our web site to keep up with what we are planning for future shows.
