I´m looking for a whole tone ...

Post by Kjell Ohlsson »

...so maybe someone out there can give me some advise.
Current situation is RKR lowers 2nd one half (1/2) and one whole 1/1, but also 9th a half tone.

RKL raises the 1st a half (1/2) and a whole (1/1) and 2nd a half (1/2) as of the 7th a half (1/2)

My problem is, I want the Inner RKL lever to raise the 7th a whole (1/1)tone. I can accept, the the RKR to also raise 7th a whole as it raises the 7th a half. But that would need some more parts, I assume.

I do have a complete pull train assembly just enough to reach the InnerRKL but I can´t get that
whole tone raise.
Someone please, come up with some suggestions.
Does the bell crank play a significant part in reaching the whole tone or what?
Maybe I`m into mission impossible, if so, please let me know.
I hope you can understand my explanation and what I´m aiming at.
Regards
Kjell

It could do it, but if you still want a half stop, you might have to add a proper half stop.
2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects

On my Emmons Legrande and my Carter I have a k-lever that raises 1+7 a whole step and 2 a half step. I setup the two whole-steps first, then adjust the second string half-step. Setup allows second string pull to be the half-step feel stop. At least this works for me.
