I just finished recording my version of this song
in preparation for a Cinco De Mayo gig.

Lap Steel Intro, Solo and Licks throughout the song.

Another great performance my friend.........

You have a distinctive voice.....a good voice......
You deliver the words in great form.

Your rhythm arrangements are truly works of art, in my opinion.

To my ear, I could hear multiple voices which sounded to me like you were singing in a large opera house with no one there; and echo type of affect that I personally found to be distracting.

I'd like to learn how you manage to find all of the free time that is obviously required for your work product. Simply great!

The background track took about 4 hours to complete.
Guitars, bass and keyboard parts were basically one take each.

I made the backing track last week and I have already performed with it several times.

The vocal, Tele and steel parts took about 4 more hours this morning... it's fun and my schedule allows me a few days a week for my musical addiction.

I am always making new tracks for my solo gigs, so It's a simple process to add vocals and steel just as I do when playing live. However, I always like to go back through and edit and fix little glitches, and that part is time consuming. When I hear my performance played back it really shows every little imperfection.

great overall sound and performance, almost worth getting married again to have you play the gig.

Altho' I wanted very much to get up front to meet you there at the BROTHERHOOD of steel guitarist, I failed to even get out of my chair in the far back of the room.

I enjoyed hearing you play 'live'......... Nice job.
