Hey, thank *you* for playing, Junior, my pleasure to hang out and watch.

Here's perhaps the most emotional part of the show, Bobby gets up and plays with Jody Cameron and Herb Steiner.

I had a great time too. There were some incredible musicians on the stage.

I haven't known Bobby for as long as a lot of you have, but he treated me like a life long friend from the first time I met him. It's easy to see why there was such a great turnout:-)

Stephen - thanks for posting the video.

Bowman called me from the hospital this morning at 10am CDT, and he's feeling much, MUCH, better than he did last week at the benefit.

As many of you know, Monday morning after the benefit saw BB going into the hospital for another extended stay, about 3 weeks, for some new, aggressive treatments for the leukemia.

Even though he looked *good* last Sunday, I could tell he was weak and somewhat uncomfortable. He seems to be responding to the new round of chemo because he sounded like his old self today, asking about my gigs, guitars, my love life ;), etc.

So let's keep up the prayer vigil for my Bubba, okay :)

BTW, at the benefit a man presented himself to me as being a Masonic brother of mine, and because I was deeply lost in thought at the moment I didn't respond with as much warmth and spirit of fraternity as perhaps I should have. We didn't exchange names, but if this brother is here online, I want to extend my apologies and hope to meet him again someday in a more fraternal spirit.
My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?
