I just finished this 8 string Baritone lap steel guitar with a 28 inch scale. The body was made by George Boards.

I installed the GB bridge right at the end of the guitar and I inserted a block of wood in the keyhead section,
just to move the nut further away from the bridge to get a longer scale.
The (mutilated) pickup plate I got from a forum member and the pickups are new, but I can't remember
who I bought them from. They were cheap but they sound wonderful. There is space for another pick up.

The finish is black hammertone, which I used to hide any surface imperfections.

I used the MAN OF STEEL theme for the fret board markers.

Hi Peter!(den Hartogh) :D
Man O Man!, I had no idea that you also built Steel guitars as well as your other talents. This build unit is magnificent! Is this a hobby with you ?, Or are you in the manufacturing end. In any event they are beautiful. Keep up the good work! Warmest greetings....
