I will echo what my old friend Bill H. says. This will be a wonderful event! I just came off the road with Gary P. Nunn this weekend and he told me he'd definitely be part of the benefit for Bowman, whom he's known for years.
I urge all steel players and brethren, if within length of your cable tow, to make it to this very worthy happening. I'll be donating courses, CDs, and other stuff to the auction, for sure.

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?

I really hate that I am going to miss this event. At the April Katy Jam I got a chance to say hello to Bobby, and made plans on attending the benefit. I later learned my gig schedule had me in two places Sunday 27th. I hope all goes well, because I know the music is going to be great!

A really great event for the recognition of a most deserving musician.
Would love to attend, but am in the middle of a move, and it's a long ways away.
My heart will be there.

Well, I've taken enough meds and pain pills to sink a battle ship. haha! But, if I didn't do that, I wouldn't stand a chance of being there.
With a little help, I can do something that resembles walking. I'm not sure as to being able to play my guitar, but, I'm taking it just in case.
I am without words to express my appreciation to everyone.
I think this is my first bebefit for me and I know that I don't know how to act. Just be my self I guess.
Thanks and may God bless everyone.

I just got home. Had to leave early, but it was a huge success. Bobby made an emotional appearance. Huge overflow crowd with many top bands performing. Too many steel players to name.

What a great day. Had lots of fun and got to see lots of friends. We had to leave about 8pm but still a good crowd. It was good to hear Bobby play with Jody and Herb again. I have many fond memories of Jody and Bobby playing together. Thanks to all who came out and to my RCC buddies that came over to dance and donate.

Here's some video for those that couldn't attend... I'll have more as time permits. Bobby will get a full copy to do with what he pleases.
