Leavitt Tuning

If you were to add two strings to a six string Leavitt tuning of: (starting with bass) C#, E, G, Bb, C, D, where would you add the two extra strings (two on treble, two on bass, one on treble and one on bass,) tuned to which note, and why?

Outside of adding a fifth and a raised ninth, What functional advantage do you feel it gives you when playing?

you add strings....it opens up so much more you can do. if you have the musical thought..you will know.

I haven't played the Leavitt tuning in a while, but it seems to me that an Eb would be very helpful... for a full Eb major chord, Eb6, Ebmaj7, and maybe more. And a low C would give you another much needed major chord position to fatten up C major, C7, C9.

What about adding a E on the high side and an A on the low side ? A-C#-E-G-Bb-C-D-E
