I have spoke with Robert and he is really busy. He was on tour in India, then he's playing in NYC on the 23rd I think, then he is on to Japan. This is one busy guy and I bet he forgot about this post or didn't know where to start. I'll see if he can start posting more. Maybe he can find the time. He told me last he was going to post on a layover he had, but never did I guess. I'm sure he will join us when he can.
I wrote this back on page 4 I believe. I personally help Robert setup his account. I talked to B0B and set it up and he then called and verified with Robert and then set it up. As this forum can get quite complex if directed at one person, so I would assume he chose not to try and comment on 6 pages of posts. However it was truly him and not a fake just FYI.

Make that 6.1 pages of fanboy posts.

There's another way to look at Robert's artistry.

He is a frontman lead singer, lead guitarist on pedal steel and in a funk band.

How sacred is that?

Hi RR!

So awesome to have your presence and your heavenly touch on the sound waves. I want to be on your wavelength! Do you dig playing the lap steel almost as much as playing the pedal? Nice Fessbender, nice Asher.
Hey, and when are you playing the left coast of Canada, say Vancouver, B.C.? (if you're looking at a map of N.A. and north is up the page- unless one is from Australia. Then...I don't know. Behind one's back and over the right shoulder I guess.
Rupert, is there west coast tour coming up?

Hello and Welcome to the Forum!

I have been an admirer of your style for years! It isn't what I normally play, but it has opened up my eyes to yet another avenue for the steel guitar!
Red Emmons D10 fatback #2246D with sweet Hugh Briley split cases, Black Emmons S10 #1466S, '73 Fender "Snakeskin" Twin Reverb, Peavey Nashville 400, Line 6 Pod XT, Fender 400, Fender Stringmaster Double-8, too many guitars, one bass!
