That's one of mine, Dustin. Bobbe started stocking a few plain units awhile back.

I pretty much use the same as Jack except mine is one I made years ago when doing leather work.
It only has one hole and I hang it on the 6th string tuner.
I also have a piece of black felt which I have cut to fit between my two necks and I lay my bar and picks there between sets.

Bar and pick holder

Post by Bobby D. Jones »

Since my s10 MSA it has a 1/2 blank space behind the neck. I made a pad for this area. I groved the wood at the end behind the key head with a 1 inch Gouge. Makes a nice place to rest bar and picks. Works great. Made bag to hang from key that holds extra wrench, winder wire cutter, in back pocket. stores bar and picks when I go on a gig to place in seat.

I use an O-Tray:

Cheap and simple, but it works.

Well, I used to use this one, until I made it larger (no pics of the current one...). Its painted with the rubberized gutter paint, and has the soft side of Velcro in the bottom.

These are offered on eBay by a fellow Forum member. I'll allow him to identify himself if he wishes to do so. I received mine just yesterday, and am impressed by both its clever design and its elegant simplicity.

Excuse me if this item has been mentioned here before, although I'd never seen it.

For better photos and full info, look in eBay for this item:

That's what I do on D-10 and SD-12. On my S-12 MSA I use a pouch from Leeann Sharp
2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects
