Finding a RealStyle for a 4/4 walking bass line

Post by Leon Carpenter »

From a post on 12-24-2013. For a RealTrack 4/4 Walking Bass, you will need to select RealTrack #1547 from set #136. Select a style that you can use, and change the bass to the above mentioned #. The artist is the talented Dave Francis. This will do the job for you. The suggested tempo is 110 BPM, although it will stretch up or down some. Regards------Leon

I find that the real tracks bass often walks in the wrong direction to what I want it to. For that reason, I use midi bass and edit the track to make the walks go up, or down, where and when I want then to. It sounds complicated, but it is actually easy once you understand it. I can edit a bass track in just a few minutes. I actually just learned to do this. One of those things that I thought would be too difficult until I spent a few minutes with it. Same for the drums.
