Recommend a PSG instructor in South/Central Illinois, Please

I'm searching for a PSG instructor in the Effingham, Il. area or not too far away. I am brand new to the PSG and don't want to acquire bad habits. I'm 43 yrs old and have played piano, 6 string and 4 & 5 string bass, in several bands and the studio for close to 30 years. I have a pretty good grasp on theory, NNS, standard notation (albeit a bit rusty

), etc. So, while I'm not new to music, I am brand new to the psg.

The PSG I have is a E9 tuned BMI S10 3p3K, if it matters.

Hi Richard. I can't believe no one near Effingham has replyed.
I'm in West Union, 11 miles south of Marshall. About 60 miles
from Effingham. It's not very close for sure, but if you'd like to
come this way, I'd be glad to help you get started. I love to help
others and never ask for money. I have amps, so all you'd need
to bring is the steel, cables and volume pedal. I'm always home.

Carl and Steve, Thanks so much for your replies. I would love to come to either of your places. However, 85 and 111 miles is a pretty good drive, this time of year...especially with the kind of weather we've been having lately.

While I would like to find someone a tad closer, if I come up empty, I'll give you guys a call once spring gets here (Break-Up, as they call it in Alaska, which seems more fitting for the current weather.)

Rich, I'm only about 60 miles. Rt 70 to Marshall,
then south on IL Rt 1. You can always come early
and stay as late as you like. Again, no cost except
the gas for the ride here and back.
I only do traditional country and have lots of tracks.

I'm going to try to make it. I have a gig (on bass, not psg) on Friday and am suppose to work on Sat. There may be a sick day in the works (cough, cough).
