Anyone making Replacement Super Pro Fingers?

Post by Brian Herder »

I have an early 80s Pro I that looks great, stays in tune great and sounds pretty good. I say pretty good because overall I like the tone, but it is lacking sustain above the 12th fret. Is anyone making pinned aluminum fingers to retrofit the slotted, pot metal ones? Would that even do anything for the sustain, or would I be chasing my tail?

Talk to James Morehead. He'll have the answers for you.
2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects
