David, the editor is top notch now, works on windows as well on Mac. Yes you can edit all,remote controll it, even tune with the built-in programmable tuner from an Ipad or Windows (not 8 RT) tablet attached to a leg from your steelguitar.

Hey Johan, this sounds great! I also bought an Axe 2 because I wanted to carry a little less gear on gigs where I play both psg and guitar. I think the setting I'm using is getting pretty good but, I'd like to try yours. How about we share our presets?

I just did this and it only took a minute :
-Subscribe to Axe-Change
-Get you Axe Fx 2 connected to your computer via USB
-Upload the patch (extension .syx)

It's pretty much self explanatory once you get there. So, here's my preset :
