Can you name this fellow? He's known worldwide as a musician, just not on one of these...he's pretty darn good on the thing, though...
A picture of a picture for a man without a scanner...yes, this was taken in the days before the widespread use of digital cameras...

Really? I figured the moustache would give him away...here's a couple of hints:
1. He's better known for playing an instrument with 16 fewer strings than this one...
2. He used to hang around a lot with this fine man:

I saw/heard T. Michael several times with Doc & Merle Watson. Not only a great bass player, but if I remember correctly, he did a fine version of the song "Dig A Little Deeper In The Well". _________________ Excel 3/4 Pedal With An 8 String Hawaiian Neck, Sierra Tapper (10 string with a raised fretboard to fret with fingers), Single neck Fessenden 3/5

T. Michael usually plays 5, doesn't he?

It's been almost a year since Mike Auldrige left us.
Very sad. He went long before his time. _________________ Tab Tabscott

Agreed. Still miss him. I'd pick up the phone to ask him some kind of question or other several times a year. Still find myself reaching for the phone.
Almost did a couple weeks ago, when I did the Fallen Leaves thing. Of course if he WERE still here, he'd have laughed and said "it's been so long since I played it, I'd have to learn it off the record."
Miss him. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
