Hello,
I recently acquired an MSA 'The Universal' S12. The carburetor linkages connecting the pedals to the rods are breaking off. I'm assuming due to becoming brittle from age.

I can't seem to figure out exactly what kind/brand of linkages they are. I can buy kits with 4 different linkages...and one of them will have the correct ball/thread size...but none of them are exactly like what is already on there.

Does anyone know exactly what kind/brand they are (Holley, etc.) and if so where I can get a quantity of them so I can replace them all and have some spares?

Thanks for your time. I'm excited to joing the PSG world Smile

If they're breaking, I suspect you don't have them screwed all the way down. They need to clamp tight to the pedals (If you moved them to the upper hole for better leverage, you need to either add washers or shorten them, as they bottom out on the set screw).
Jim Palenscar of Steel Guitars of North County (go to www.steelguitars.me for his website) should have em, as should Tom Bradshaw (I forget his website but googling Tom Bradshaw pedal steel should get it to you: it's the one that mentions something about songwriter in the URL). Pretty sure they're someone's standard linkage size, but I don't know whose.
It's also possible to break them from exuberant use of force on the pedals: reportedly Robert Randolph regards them as consumables. The only times I've broken them (twice) was because they weren't all the way down.
