Our drummer forgot his cymbals at home! We got lucky and borrowed some for a show last night in NYC but we're in need again for this evening. We're scheduled to play this evening in Tiverton, Rhode Island at Sandywoods Center for the Arts at 7:30 pm. Our group is called Michael Chorney & Hollar General, and I'll be playing pedal steel. We sure would appreciate any help (and our drummer is truly amazing). Thanks!

Touché Chris. We got lucky in the final moments before the show and the promoter's friend's kid brought some for us. They were forgotten a midst a rainy Vermont load up.

Are cymbals ever annoying? A tiny bit less than musical?
I played bass guitar on a ton of gigs, right next to the drummer.
If the drummer ever forgot his cymbals, I would have said.
Aww, What a shame? I feel bad for you. I wish that there was something I could do.
Just know that I am here for you if you need to talk.
You have got a friend for life. Can I get you a beer or something?
Dude you are up to the challenge. Let's make this the best gig ever.
Would I try to find him some cymbals to borrow….yeah right

The drummer in one of my bands forgot his one time. He went home to get them. Missed the whole first set. Good thing we travel with a drum machine programmed with the songs we do. There were also a couple of times he forgot about the gig, or got off work late and didn't want to face the traffic to get to gig.
