Stars & Steel Guitars..Benton, Il Nov 7, 8 & 9

Post by Bobby D. Reed »

I have four very well known players other than the ones named below who would love to be at this show and maybe at least one of them will be able to make it. Due to all the TV filming going on that same week it makes it rough for them to get out of Nashville.
However we have put together what promises to be a great show with Hall Of Fame Players and some of the best singers in the country. We also have a great mixture of local players who are very good playersand as usual a great Nashville back-up band.
The schedule includes; Doug Jernigan, Ron Elliott, Buck Reid, Jim Vest, Lynn Owsley, Eddie Dunlap and many other great players and entertainers like Amber Martin, David Chamberlain, Dottie Jack, Tom Campbell and many more. Show starts at 12:30 PM on Thursday 10:00 AM on Friday and Saturday. More info in previous posts. Thanks to all for your support....Bobby 615 419 9642 P.S. The tentative schedule will be posted on my website "bobbyreed.net" later today.

Fantastic show

Great show. I made the Friday show and it was all I had hoped for. Super good room, knocked out band and some of the best steelers in the country. Thanks Bobby and Crew for putting on such a fine show. Hope there will be more of the same. To all that missed this, shame on you. This is a wonderful facility and first class sound and production. Good vendor turnout. What more could you ask for?

Yes it sure was Fantastic Lyle, and I really enjoyed our set together.
I've been working on the videos since 6 this morning and I'm burned
out, so I'm going to watch county music for a couple hours and retire
for the night. I'm playing tomorrow night, so I need a little rest.

Thanks to all of you, the vendors, the players, the fans and the civic center. Special thanks to Jeanita, Aleshia, John, Don, Mary, Shelia, Merve, Jack and Lindell and all the rest of the staff.
Special thanks to Tom Campbell, Jan Jones, Carl Kilmer and EVERYBODY !!!
Next year the date is set and moves back to October 23, 24 & 25 at the Benton, Il Civic Center. We hope to see you all there.
What a tragedy that a lady died at the show. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. Until next year, thanks again....Bobby
