Volume Pot dust covers - anyone tried em?

The pots used in volume pedals are "sealed" pots so those would not be needed or do anything for it.

Pots that have opening(s) would benefit if in a dirty/dusty location. Generally they wouldn't really do anything for pots inside an amp.
