Unboxing a new Rittenberry / Thanks to Gary!
Hi All
Just wanted to say a big thank you to Gary Rittenberry who built me such a wonderful guitar, which arrived this week after a short delay in UK customs. The apron design was taken from a picture on his website from a few years back – but pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a stunning looking guitar.
Below are a few photos of the initial unboxing and set up. Realise there are a couple of blury ones in there - sorry.
Gary was great to deal with and answered all my inane questions graciously. Long may he be in business.
I’m a very infrequent poster here but in the year or so I’ve been waiting for this guitar I have learned heaps from you all. You are an entertaining and erudite bunch. This is a fantastic resource.
Cheers
David

Rittenberry
What a beautifull little instrument. Not to mention the case has some real flash. Have to check these out as it slipped by me they were making these new. I had heard someone was using some of the same parts. Congratulations.

Hey!!
Hey! That's my guitar!!!!!! I came up with that design (koa wood mica inside of black) because I planned on moving to Hawaii & wanted to honor the Hawaiian koa thing. And I LOVE Emmons style black D- 10's. That D-10 is still my favorite of my three guitars. And Yes! Gary does incredible work.

Re: Hey!!
Yes! I recognise your name from the picture now! Thanks Jim, I am indebted to you for creating such a great design, and aopologies for my lack of imagination. I hope you don't mind? Does it mean i owe you $5 every time I look at the guitar?!Jim Hollingsworth wrote:Hey! That's my guitar!!!!!! I came up with that design

Nice looking Rit there David. Welcome to the Rittenberry club. The man the guitar second to none. I am late seeing your pics of your guitar. I have had mine 6 months and love it.
