Performance D-10

Post by Rick Troyer »

Near mint condition Performance D-10. 9 pedals/5 knees. With Dlx hard case. Asking 2499.99.
This guitar was built in Akron Ohio by Dave Decker under the ownership of Jerry Brightman. Although a short lived company these guitars, with few exceptions have tone to the bone and sustain for days.
This was Dave's personal guitar and like everything he does it's spot on !
PM for more pics or details. Thanks !

It is an Emmons setup. Pedal one is a Frankln pedal. Lowers both b's to A. Pedals 2 thru 9 are Emmons setup. LKL raises the E's. VKL lowers both B's to Bb. LKR lowers both E's. RKL raises the first and second strings and lowers the 6th string. RKR lowers the second and 9th strings.

Great price on a really great guitar. It's too bad more people don't know about these. Superb design, engineering, machining, etc.. Beautifully timed pulls. Mechanics are all designed to be a "Straight" pull, never any thing off center. Wonderful full sound, and tons of sustain.

Here's a couple pics of one that I put together, not Dave's guitar. The "reverser" is a thing of beauty!

These are really nice and good sounding guitars. Heard Jerry Brightman play one at Dallas one year and really sounded great.
