MSA Classic D-10, 8 & 4, Lacquer
I've owned this guitar about 3 years, it was my first "real" steel, but I've been playing my Sierra U-12 exclusively and this guitar is too nice to sit in it's case.
It's a '77 I think, was originally blue as shown on the underside, but the top has faded to a walnut brown shade.
It's in VERY good shape with a couple dings here and there. Sounds great, plays beautifully, and stays in tune forever. The C6 pickup is the stock Supersustain, and the E9 is a George L's I bought from a forum member. I'll also include the TrueTone pickup that I got with the guitar. It's a fine pickup, I swapped it out because I have electrical noise in my basement studio and need to use humbuckers.
I went to a split case system, I bought a case from Kevin Hatton this Spring. That holds the body of the guitar, and I bought a soft gun case from Cabela's for the pedalboard, rods, and legs. It also has pockets for tuner, cables, strings, etc. It's worked out very well for me, I can carry one case in each hand pretty easily. I can't say the same for the guitar in its original case.
I'd like $1400 +shipping, insurance, and PayPal fees. Sorry, lower 48 only.
Feel free to ask questions, I can also email more pictures if interested.
A battle scar:
The Hatton case is like new, and a nice snug fit!
Exterior view of the Cabela's gun case, showing the roomy pockets
Interior of the gun case, holding pedal bar, legs, and rods. Also shown is a Goodrich Volume pedal(not included)
The copedent is standard Emmons style

It's not so much whether she'd notice, but whether she'd appreciate what a brilliant choice you've made!Dan Beller-McKenna wrote:Hmmmmmm...there's an '06 Mazda 3 in my driveway that needs a bushing to pass inspection. Hmmmmm..... Think my wife would notice if it disappeared and an extra steel showed up in my study?
