This is the fifth DVD I had the pleasure of producing for Al. The topic has been in the planning stages for years. It's a subject that leads to controversy.
We'll never get everyone to agree on a tuning method, but I believe everyone will learn something from this DVD.Al has an ear-tuning method that is no secret. It's been documented on his web site for years, however seeing and hearing it explained is time well spent. Additional topics are covered, see the list on the back of the DVD.
We sincerely believe that players at any level will benefit from this lesson. Studying this method has given me a greater understanding of the harmonic structure of the E9 tuning, and the challenges involved with playing in tune.
