Buck Owens Dust on Mother's Bible

Post by W. Van Horn »

Just listened to "Dust on Mother's Bible" again and it reminded me how awesome it is!!! It's a fantastic showcase of Tom Brumley's steel playing. If you like west coast steel and haven't heard that album I highly recommend it. Great gospel tunes.

Tom is a great player. I really like that song. Did you notice how the fills are just right? They flow so nicely with the song.
Tom did a great job on that song.

Will H., thanks for calling my attention to this recording. I just heard the title track Chris T. posted and that is some fantastic music all around. Many blessing to you and your family, Mrs. Brumley.

Dust On Mother's Bible

Post by Marcus Provis »

I just recently acquired this LP, and consequently, found some of the tracks from it on youtube.

What great steel playing!
Thought I would add a link from you tube to another song from this LP.
