UPDATE: BL705s had not arrived today, and I wasn't going to wait to put her back together. I threw an E66 in there, left off the new fingerboard (didn't want to destroy a perfect fretboard), and switched the black pedals for polished. I tuned her up, including all the splits and half stops , just like my 90PRP. So heres the skinny...Half stop feels: String 1 F#/G/G# string 2 D#/D/C#, string 6 G#/G/F#, string 7 F#/G/G#, SPLITS on 4,5 and 6!..I added a 7 string whole-tone pull also, so if the 6 lower isnt needed, it can just be de-activated!...A LOT of work went into this guitar...SHE SOUNDS GREAT, and is PRECISELY setup!....DONT MISS IT!

My 10 cents.....I have one of these PRPs, SD-10. I bought it sight unseen about 3 years ago. I had the seller ship it directly to Mickey. He drug a comb through it and replaced what needed replacing and added a LKV to the guitar. Also replace the fretboard with a current design. After playing this guitar for the past three years I am completely convinced I will never need or want another guitar. The tone and quality of this era guitar is well known. I know whoever buys this guitar will have the same experience I have had. And believe me these do not come up for sale very often...I look every day. So, that is my 10 cents.....P.S. Mine is black so...well. you know.

Jack, thanks so much for your post. Not only do I buy and sell these, I also keep a prized 1990 Pre RP in my collection. I know a lot of guys are wanting lighter guitars nowadays, this seems to be driving the value up. This is only the 3rd SD I've been able to get this year..look for pics end of next week!!!
