Fred Justice- Great
I'm not sure of the name of this tune that Fred plays but he sure plays fantastic.
Here's a nice you tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frM5hDxvZlQ
I hear a lot of Hal Rugg and Lloyd Green in his playing. Does anyone know who does that song? and its name? .
I've heard Fred's name lots over the years, but haven't heard his playing. Very, very nice.

Thanks
Ah yes it's on the "Slide" record. So that must be Lloyd then, because I don't remember Hal being there..
Weldon Myrick was kind enough to invite me to that session.
It was a steel record that honored Pete Drake and had around six top pedal players on it.
Pete Drake was unable to play, but sat at the mixing console.
Each songs involved several steel players, so the recording booth was dripping with some heavey weight steel grease!
It was most fun being a fly on that wall. Thank you Weldon!
It's hard to record two or more steel players so things don't "clash".

Tara's Theme by Fred was recorded live at Our Annual Ozark Steel Guitar Association Show on 7/29/07 at The Baldknobbers Theater in Branson. How about the band in the video ? Mike McGee on bass, Michael "Arkansas Red" Breid on guitar, R.P. Harrell on keybord,Bruce Hoffman and Wade Landry on twin fiddles and the great Chuck Landry on drums. Just don't get any better folks.
Here's a picture of Fred on that set :

Larry you knot head. ya, one of the early ones.
In fact, my buddy Matt Prouty is coming back to town and I'm going to get Matt to get me set up with my video cam and You Tube.
My goal is to put something up on You Tube of each of our models, so stay tuned.
