Good used D-10

Post by Scott Duckworth »

Looking for a good used D-10. Not a lot of money to spend here, but might be able to swing it, definitely won't be able to afford high dollar stuff.

Must be playable. 8 pedal, 4 or 5 knees, standard Emmons E9 / C6 setup. Getting started again after 30 years on pedal steel. Would prefer something I could pick from Etowah, TN (E TN) 3 hours or so away, but will consider shipping costs.

I am serious. I have lost the feeling in the left little and ring fingers, and just sold my last bass guitar and amp today.

I've had several folks message me or email me. Unfortunately, looks like I'm going to be a little short on funds. I'll keep watching...

Well, I now own a Marlen D-10 for the price I would have paid for a budget S-10. Needs a little work, cleaning, polishing, wiring, etc. but should make a keeper. I'll post pics later in the Pedal Steel section of the forum. It's pouring down rain here, and it's still in the vehicle.

See http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=245342 for info and pics!
