More Lloyd Green! Bar Hoppin, Cool Steel & Take These Chains
Three awesome transcriptions from the wonderful Cool Steel Man album, recorded by Lloyd Green in 1968:
Cool Steel
Bar Hoppin
Take These Chains
Complete Pro Tabs and Play-Along Tracks.
5$ each, or 12$ for the set!!!
---------------
Little Darlin'
from the album "The Hit Sounds" (1967)
It also appears on several compilations such as "The Little Darlin' Sound Of..."
http://youtu.be/5zJEWIIRIf8
Back-up track is identical to the original recording, including the baritone guitar solo. The tab is 7-page long and includes everything from the top to the ending.
Tab and track: 5$
-----------
Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain
from the album "Ten Shades Of Green"
Video demonstration:
http://youtu.be/b1fihS7hrb4
The complete Tabledit tablature comes with 2 backing tracks: the first one at 100bpm, which I used for the video, a Willie-esque relaxed tempo, and the second one at 120 bpm, which is a mirror image of Lloyd's recording.
One tab, two tracks: 5$
------------------------
Midnight Silence
from the album "Lloyd Green and His Steel Guitar"

Hi Tommy,
They are not. I sent them to Walter Stettner, who runs the Lloyd Green tribute website. I offered to contribute some money to his website and he turned it down. I asked him about getting Lloyd's blessing, and he said he couldn't contact him at the time. I personally have no other way of getting in touch with Lloyd but believe me, if I could I would!
The sums of money involved are symbolic more than anything else, especially considering the amount of work I put into these. When I got interested in Lloyd's playing, I was dumbfounded at how little material there was out there for someone who wanted to study his style. I'm hoping this little contribution helps preserving his legacy, along with the free tabs I regularly post in the Tablature section. Hope this suitably addresses your concerns.

Looks like I found another gear because I now have not one, not two but THREE new songs to offer! All from the same album: Cool Steel Man (1968). The songs are Cool Steel, Bar Hoppin' and Take These Chains. Tabs are done with Tabledit, clean and easy to read, and each song one comes with a quality backing track featuring real instruments.

These tabs are fantastic! I've been working on "Bar Hopin'", "Ride, ride, ride" and can say that every note I've seen was tabbed out correctly and precisely accurate. These tabs are a must-have for everyone who loves Lloyd Green. Congratulations!
