We have invested a tremendous amount of time and financing to create a GeorgeBoard Retro-Master with all the right stuff.
I've just returned from the Texas Steel Guitar Jamboree where this proto was given the once over by over a dozen known named super pickers.
The results are all 100 percent positive.

Retro-Master Pick-Ups are wound to exacting specs, reversed - opposing - exacting positioning relating to the bridge.



Both Necks have the rotary adjustment for pickup tone variations (Thumb Wheel on originals)
Switches to engage each neck -- 250K A Volume pot and 1 Meg L Tone Pot.




GeorgeBoards Exclusive head precision created for nearly straight pull from the 3/8" Round Nut
(.360 spacing grooves) to each Heavy Duty Tuner Gears with black buttons.
We also have an extra 1" distance from the nut to the 1st and 8th tuner for Hawaiian Players that want to do the pull off to the zero position.

24.5" scale fretboards are from Jim Palenscar Steel Guitar North County, beautiful and accurate.

Killer guitar. I played it for 1/2 hour and thought everything about it was right.

Great scale at 24.5", great feel, and really lush tone. I liked it better than just about all the Stringmasters I've played--maybe the string-through-body had something to do with that.
