I got my evaluation speaker today - and yeah, its made by Eminence.Howard Smith wrote:Who's the manufacturer....they look like an Eminence.
My initial impression is that the build is much better than Weber speakers. I am going to put it into an amp on Friday and spend some time comparing it to the Neo Magnet speakers I currently use in the Milkman amps.

I bought home from Dallas a open backed cabinet with the new Telonics 15" speaker in it, and paired it up with the closed back one I already had, fitted with a BW 1501-4. I must say the combination of these 2 configurations is absolutely fantastic - last weekend I played an outdoor festival concert and felt that my sound was as good as it has ever been - I didn't get to hear it through the FOH of course but on stage it was awesome.

Telonics Speakers
I've installed two new Telonics 15" speakers in my Telonics open-back cabinets and used them on the bandstand on two separate gigs last weekend, using one my Emmons push-pulls. These speakers sound fantastic!! I like them much better than my Peavey 1501-4 DT speakers. Lots of clarity and sparkle on the highs (without being edgy) very clear and smooth midrange, as well as a nice tight bottom end, without being too boomy. I can't wait to use them again this weekend with one of my other guitars! Not only do they sound great, but the weight savings is a real plus as well. I think Telonics hase a real winner with those speakers, and I'm sure they will be selling a lot of them!
Best regards,
Lynn Stafford
