Does anybody know if Billy Bird played the pedal steel guitar? I have a Fender 400 that I got on Ebay a couple years ago that has his name stenciled on the pedal board. Harold

If you are referring to Ernest Tubb's "Billy", he doesn't spell his name that way. It's Byrd. I don't think he ever played the steel.
