I love my G2's. For my taste it's the best guitar on the market. I've had the D-10's since '07 and the SD-10 for a little over a year. All three are working guitars, but I try to keep them prettied up. These guitars only get sweeter with time.

Well fellow PSG lovers, I gotta say Del and crew have been making the finest in pedal steels for a long time, all the way up to the G2. ...I only played a G2 once and easiest playing instrument I ever tried. But, I recently traded for an Old Pre-RP that plays as easy, and sounds sweetest of any steel I have ever had. Almost no cabinet drop, having to adjust the Newman tuning chart a little.

Me too...I love the PR-D10 I got from Mickey...I keep thinking I want an Extended E9th not only for the bigger chords but also for the "smaller" weight, but when I play that Pre Royal D-10, and hear the way it sounds I'm afraid to pull the trigger...I wish I could afford to keep this one and get an Extended E9th G2, but alas, I can't...but someday, or maybe I'll hear a G2 up close and personal and pull that trigger and get one...But still love the one I have...

...and yes Mickey is a great guy to deal with...as are some of the other Mullen pickers I've had the pleasure of knowing, Jim Lindsey fer sure is one!

second strin C# to D#My two working guitars are a G2 and Legrande III. I use one more than the other depending on the schedule and circumstances. I have to say the G2 is the one i choose between the two. Why? I guess it has to do with the solid lever stops especially the secong string. My Jack Strayhorn LG III, recently set up, has a seamless C# sharp to D# feel that I can't get on my G2. I'm sure that can be fixed. I fell the half steps in the release on the Mullen.
