Fender Steel King with Tilt back Legs
Recently installed a pair of Fender tilt back legs on my Steel King. I think it helps to project the sound. Similar to those found on the Twin reverb. Cost about $40.00, just Google Fender Tilt back legs.several Guitar supply houses carry them.

Looks nice.
I just pop out the rear casters to get the tilt-back effect. (Or is that affect?)

There are only two options as I see it.
Either I'm right, or there is a sinister conspiracy to conceal the fact that I'm right.

I think it affects me in a positive way.
Those tilt-back legs give it a bit of a vintage look. Now, go get some "chicken-head" knobs to complete the look.
I put "chicken-head" knobs on my FSK quite some time ago. I like the way they look and, on a dark stage, it's easy to feel the position of the knob.

Tiltback legs on N-112
After seeing this topic, I ordered a set of 14 inch Fender Tiltback Legs . They went on my Nashville 112 very easy and work and look great.( got them from MF)

I put some 19" legs on my SteelKing and my back says "Thank you" in a clear voice. It's a long way from the floor to an amp stand. Like the sound just as well with the amp tilted back.

For a Deluxe Reverb go with the 14"ers. There are three sizes IIRC... the 14's are the shortest.Len Amaral wrote:call me sentimental but there is something in my heart that pounds when i see a fender amp on tilt legs. anyone know what size legs for a fender delux?
