Herb Remington on the original of "Why Baby Why". Herb was the studio steel player there at Gold Star Studio in Houston.

I know Jimmy Day, Buddy Emmons and maybe Walter Haynes are on some of the early Nashville stuff, and Hal Rugg on some a little later. Sonny Curtis came later still I think, Lloyd Green's on at least one late 60s session (and probably several) and of course Pete Drake played on most of the Billy Sherrill produced stuff starting in the very early 70s.

I'm sure there are more players represented on various early records too. I'll bet Steve Hinson could help out with some more details... Winking

Lloyd Green's first recording session was with George Jones in 1957, "Too Much Water".
