The scale for those shows depends on what town the show happens in,I think...but it seems like it is between $500-$600...sometimes the artist or label kicks in,sometimes not...sometimes they will pay a whole day's pay...sometimes they will make up the difference between scale and a day's pay...if the act's bandleader gets to sign leader,he gets double...you get reruns if they show it again...Bobby Boggs wrote:Just curious. What is union scale for a sideman performing 1 song on a show such as Letterman? I'm guessing the record company's and - or the Artist kick in additional funds?
Thanks bb
Obviously,it would be pretty easy to make"a 1000.00"
doing one of those shows...
