Emmons Legrande2 tone
I have a 93 Emmons Legrande 2. The tone is very cloudy the further up the neck you get. What can I do to significantly improve it?
Thank you,

No sir, it happened last night when I played a 69 Emmons p/p w/wooden necks and realized my 93 not only did'nt sound anywhere near as good, but did'nt play near as good either. Now. I use nashville 400 and ultaverb2. I use goodrich v/ped. My steel has stock p/u's. Thanks in advance for any assistance and anwering the call of a frustrated steeler.
Thanks,
Wayne Baker

I have a 2000 model D-10 Lashley LeGrande II 8-5 and a 1967 PP D-10 8-5 with almost the same set up on both Guitars other than the all pull playing better, to me they sound one as good as the other. I use a NV-400 & NV-1000 and DPC-1000 with a Pro-Fex II and 2 15" BW's & a Sho~Bud Chritmas Tree with 15" JBL.

Hey thanks guys, sorry I could'nt reply sooner. I'm an Air Force First Sergeant, and that keeps me pretty tied up. I'm using factory p/u. Also, I did not try my LeGrande through the same sound equipment as the p/p. I'll tell you, that old 69 p/p kicks some serious "you know what". I'm using a nashville 400 and ultraverbII.
Thanks for all the replies boys,
