Austin , Tx. lessons and repair.

Post by Johnny Cox »

Now that I'm settled in the Austin area and the holidays are behind us I'm scheduling steel guitar (E9th, C6th & E13th) lessons and repair. I work on all brands of all pull pedal steels.
At this point I'm only doing setups, pedal & knee lever kits and adjustments. I hope to set up a full blown restoration, teaching and sales facility during the coming year. You can contact me by phone @ 214-714-6932 or email: turnupthesteel.cox@gmail.com. Looking forward to 2013 being the best year ever. If your in Austin on a Sunday night please come by The Continental Club and check out Heybale. We start @ 10:15 every Sunday night.[/u]

Hey Johnny, I saw your 214 area code and it looks like you might have spent some time in DFW, where I am getting started on the steel. Do you know of anyone up here that teaches C7 lessons and does repair and maintenace? I'll stop by the Continental next time I'm down in Austin on a Sunday. Good luck!

C7? That's an unusual tuning... Perhaps you meant C6?
