Topic: Custom nut craftsmen? |

I need a 10-string nut made - hopefully identical (within reason) of the original. The fourth string notch was cut deeper for a heavier gauge - I'm sure a custom order or Alkire tuning or something. In the alternative, can those grooves be filled with anything and refiled?[/i]

I don't have the guitar yet - but will on Friday. It's a Gibson and has the same type of nut as the EH125/150 group.

Depending on the age of the instrument, the material originally used for the nut might not be available. You can hardly go wrong with a "Tusk" replacement nut.
