PLEASE tell us about that 7 string frypan you have, I'm sure there's an interesting story there somewhere !!
Basil, you're incorrigible - it also happens to be true. My long-term memory is amazing, but moment by moment? - MORE COFFEE PLEASE!
The RKR frypan you sold me is a delight and no mistake. I never did find out if one of our members bought the one that came up on eBay recently. I hope so. Anyway I should be able to get some Soundcloud things up in the New Year, so everyone can share my agony whenever my intonation stinks.
Don't worry, Mike, I bought the RKR 7 string frypan on eBay recently and I'm absolutely overjoyed with it. I called Rod afterwards and he says that only 12 were ever made, so it's more rare than we thought. He says that the only parts that are not hand made are the tuners. Everything else is hand made to the original spec.
I hope to be able to attend the next Aloha Dream Luau and hopefully may be able to persuade Basil to inject a little mojo into my frypan by playing Aloha Oe as it should be.
The Aloha Dreamers have already suffered my humble scrapings and deserve better.
