Jamey Johnson new release!

Post by Tommy White »

I had the pleasure to record on nearly every song for Jamey's newest release," Living for the song". A tribute to Hank Cochran. This really is classic country music at it's finest. Www.jameyjohnson.com

I wondered who was playing. The digital copies don't include the album liner notes.

The subtleties in your playing are allowed to really shine with the arrangements and the mix.

Great job!

Awesome album. Tommy is on most cuts. Eddie Rivers is on one (Ray Benson & AATW). Robby Turner is on a couple as well.

Here's some of the artists on the album (Living for a Song:Tribute to Hank Cochran)....

Ray Price, Willie, Merle, Allison Krauss, Krisofferson, Bobby Bare, Ronnie Dunn, Leann Womack, Leon Russell, Vince Gill, EmmyLou, Ray Benson & AATW, Elvis Costello, Geo Strait

Has to be the best album of the year !!!!!

I was watching a program on RFD TV , probably marty stuart or country reunion and I saw a quick flash of Jamie on a primer for a "new" Country Reunion show.

Just make things clear, I really dig the show and the artists, but man, has Nashville already banished Jamie to Branson? Someone tell me I saw this correctly.

Hi Tommy , You`re ears must ring an awful lot lately and I`m sorry about that, but I gotta tell you I think of you all the time when I`m on stage and want to take any song to another level, which is quite often, I feel happier doing this, The thing is I dont sound like you LOL, but its fun and thanks for letting me ring your ear once in a while, Great job on the JJ album, SweetPeace and Merry Christmas to ya

Haven't bought a CD in years, well, now I have! If for no other reason than to sit and listen to this amazing steel playing! Simply awesome!
Been at this damn thing for a few years now. Not so sure that I'm getting anywhere but it is fun. Sometimes.
