Have retired and with more time, thought I'd like to get back to playing music again. After being stored for some 30 odd years since my playing days in the '70's, the guitars (Rickenbacker bass, Gibson SG, Ovation acoustic, and the Emmons) survived pretty well.
Some new strings, a little polish...but the Emmons was impossible to tune and needed some serious maintenance.
Was fortunate to contact Mr. Billy Knowles at "Steel Guitar East" and these pics show the results. Decided to completely restore it and Mr. Knowles did an excellent job.
