I was wondering what would be ideal cleaning tips for my MSA Legend. Thank you for any suggestions in advance. Rick

Cleaning what? The finish? The aluminum? The undercarriage?

There's lots of threads on the forum about cleaning and polishing (and just as many different ideas on it).

Rick pretty much nails it, especially for my Emmons SD-10. Squeaky clean! :D
Thanks for showing us the way Rick. YOU DA MAN! ;-)

Rick's method really works wonders. I've even noticed a significant improvement in over-all tone and playability after several cleanings. The strings really "come to life" also.

Rick's cleaning method will surely work; but if your steel guitar ever gets that grimey,
I suggest you pressure wash the player first, or it will be necessary to clean it again right away. :D
just kidding!

Ralph Mooney's cleaning with a garden hose was probably the most efficient for most of us....when followed with a generous application of WD-40.

checked threads and found out I want to try that purple stuff for the metal, but I did not find something I could use for the wood cabinet.

For the wood cab, Meguiare's Professional Swirl Remover 2.0, will gently clean the finish of crud without damaging the patina of an aged finish. Then California Custom's M-RON Polish is incredible. The best wax, by far, that I've ever found. Carnuba #1, no silicones. Check out the shine on this 63ish Perm body. It was filthy when I got it!

I got the California Custom Purple Polish and the M-Ron at the local Mack Truck dealer.

Tony,
I haven't used it on an acoustic yet. But I have on several electrics. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. Not sure I'd use it on a severely checked/cracked surface though.

Lousy pics, but they kinda show how well the swirl remover works;
