What size are the screws that adjust pickups on older Emmons? Like the one circled in the picture below. I have a '75 that lost one, wasn't sure if it's anything special that needs to be ordered.

I don't think there is anything special about them. They're probably 6-32, a standard hardware store item.

If you want the exact one, probably Emmons or one of their dealers can supply it.

I would suggest you remove one of the remaining screws and take it with you to your local hdwe. store to match it up. There should be someone around the store somewhere to help you with that.

If you're worried about messing up the position of your pickup, just count the number of turns it takes to remove the screw and install it the same way.

When you install the new screw, then you can level it all up.

Hi Nathan,

The screw is just a 6-32 x 3/4" long round head Phillips machine screw. The originals are nickel plated but I think you'll be able to find a stainless or even a zink plated replacement at any good hardware store. You may have lost the little compression spring which goes between the mounting plate and the bottom of the neck. It should be about 3/8" long and should be installed as well. These are the same type that are used on the pull and drop rods in your under carraige (in case you have some spares). Looks like the top plate of your pickup is cracked Sad
