string spacing

Post by Raymond Jones »

Beautiful reso !! Is there the same or different string spacing on the eight over the six string? Spacing? If a "kit" is bought can you supply the Tail piece and cone /spider etc? to fit an eight string? Eight strings would load a cone much more. Listened to your eight string - sounded very fine. Lovely work!

Gregg just made and shipped this beauty's brother to me a couple of months ago, and I couldn't be happier with it. Great tone, playability, and a real looker too. I recommend it highly....

That's a looker... :)

Had my 8-string birch McKenna since July last year, and it's one of the most inspiring instruments I own. IMO in this price range, nothing else comes close.

Very purty reso!!

Looks almost like my Rob Ickes model Scheerhorn. Different wood, but I've heard nothing but great things about the McKenna Resos. Gosh, wish I had the bucks! :(
