What a fantastic show this was! I listenend all the way up to the end (it's 7:28 am over here now) and enjoyed every second of it. I can't think of any other band in this style of music that even comes close to what you all are doing.
To Paul: Thanks again for posting this event. You've played so many outstanding things again it just boggles my mind. I especially loved your solo on the second Tony Booth song (sorry, forgot the title, it was a shuffle) and your solo on "Don't you ever get tired of hurting me", actually brought tears to my eyes. Your solo's on Together Again also made my jaw drop to the floor
Thanks to all the great musicians and everyone else who made this evening possible. I wish I could have been there in person. And Vince Gill, I've been a fan of yours for many, many years and your version of "Six pack to go" tonight was simply amazing.
Cheers and greetings from The Netherlands. |

Thanks Paul for alerting us. I was able to hear some of it on the way home from an early gig. Great stuff as always. Enjoyed Eddie Stubbs' interviews. _________________ LeGrande II, Nash. 112, Fender Twin Tone Master, Session 400, Harlow Dobro, R.Q.Jones Dobro |

Paul I listened to the entire show and it was fantastic. When we saw you & the TJ's on Sept. 3rd the show was also great. I'm glad we got to chat for a few minutes but I wish I could have stayed another week for the party. You all were outstanding on both weeks. |

Listening to this show right now - it's currently archived - not sure how long they keep them online. You'll need a flash player installed to hear the streamed content.
If you have the DownloadHelper add-on with the Mozilla Firefox browser, you can store the .mp3 files to your hard drive.
Wish I could'a been there, but this is the next best thing! Looking forward to getting the new CD. |

Couldn't make the show, but will catch the archive. Have been enjoying the Time Jumpers on YouTube, though. I didn't know you all had CDs before this thread, so ordered the latest and prior one tonight! _________________ Sho-Bud Pro II Custom, GFI Ultra SD-10, Fender Pro Amp, Fender Mustang II Amp, Morrell 8-string lap, Epiphone 6-string lap, Galveston reso, etc. |

Someone posted the link to the Show on WSM, last week. I clicked in to WSM at that time and got there just before the last break. Sounded like a platoon of great musicians and vocals ; my favorite country/ and swing. Fantastic steel by Mr Paul Jr.

Thanks for all of your nice compliments and especially for supporting the Time Jumpers throughout the years.......I'll pass on all the nice words here....
....The TimeJumpers also send out many thanks to all who supported us this first week out. Whether its through a purchase, or just spreading the word about the new CD, all of your help is much appreciated with our gang. The TimeJumpers are huge fans of this musical form. We love playing the music and are focused on keeping it alive at a national level.....These days, getting traditional styles of music on the charts is like swimming against the current.....The CD was the 5th most added to the Americana radio stations its first week out thanks to all of you who request TJ music.
In case anyone missed it and want to hear the show, WSM has decided to make the release party show a part of their permanent archives.
I feel honored to be a member of this band....As you know Johnny Cox and John Hughey were there before me and I know they both loved it as I do.....Sitting in that chair is a responsibility nobody should take lightly.....On many Mondays I have witnessed the response of a younger generation hearing this form of music in a live setting for the first time...Its a beautiful moment to see them enjoy something they probably did not expect to like...
The TJ's affectionately refer to this music as therapy....
Paul

Paul, you and the entire band had me listening til' the end. Just the best.
I can't imagine anyone taking that gig lightly. Sitting in the steel guitar seat after you, John Hughey and Johnny Cox would be enough to send about any man to the "nervous hospital". |

When I saw the TJ's back in August, it was outstanding. There were a few younger folks in the audience who were enthuiastic. I love to see that.
Thanks Paul and the band for keeping it in the forefront. _________________ Zum Encore, Zum Stage One, Fender 2000, Harlan Bros., Multi-Kord, |

Hey Paul, I picked up the CD at my local record store yesterday, haven't had a chance to spin it yet.
I'm really looking forward to seeing The Time Jumpers in San Francisco at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass on October 5. I'll be getting there bright and early (well - it probably won't be bright when I get there because of the fog), and we'll be setting up our tarp and chairs hopefully near the front! _________________ Mark |

I have really been enjoying the CD over the past couple days - everyone here should have this album.
As with all the players and singers on the CD, Paul's contribution is of course, stellar. _________________ Mark |
