Sho-Bud S10 3+3

Post by Julian Goldwhite »

This was my "starter" psg, but nowadays it just sits in the case as I have a couple other steels that take up all my time. This is an old round-front rack & barrel Sho-Bud 6140 that has been converted from its original 6 pedals to 3 pedals and 3 knees. Standard Emmons on the floor with the knees going LKL E's raise to F, RKL E's lower to Eb, RKR 9th string lowers Eb to D. Comes with a great sounding BL 710 pickup, and this guitar does play and sound like a good old 'Bud should!

The cabinet is a little rough, bar dings, some discoloration on the lower front inlay that looks like water damage and some scrapes on the face as well, half-pad on top for added comfort, also has the original leg bag. When I first bought this, I planned on doing a refin and adding at least one if not two more knees. It would make an awesome steel if someone wants to take on that project, or it would make a great starter for someone as is.

The original case came to me gutted and I never got around to refurbishing it either since I had a custom road case made for it. Selling it for $1100 + shipping with the original case (the steel will be bubble wrapped and properly packed) or $1300 + shipping with the road case (see separate listing in the amp and accessories category). Buyer to pay +3% if using PayPal.

I can email high res pics if you want to see more details...

All the best,

Julian

Dear Julian,

I am very interested in this nice pedal steel! Is it still for sale?

Would there be a problem in shipping it to Europe?

Greetings from Belgium, hope to hear from you soon..

Bart
