That was great playing! I always thought Jade sounded a bit like Leanne Womak.

Dave Biller ... What a killer musician! Every time I hear him play I think about what instruments I need to sell ... like all of them. :)

Killer musician is right.....I saw Dave yesterday at the Austin Steel Guitar Co-Op and he sat sat down behind Ken Metcalf's ZB S-10 and played a beautiful version of "The Waltz You Saved For Me"....he made it sound as if he played that particular guitar all the time>

Biller is The Killer

Post by Brent Torgrimson »

I'm not easily impressed - not at all, but Dave Biller very much impresses me. He's at the very top of his game - 6 string and steel. Biller is fantastic - absolutely killer - at both instruments -and extremely effective playing vastly different styles. He's who I wish I played like.

It's not that he's a fleet fingered speed freak, which he can turn on at any time; it's his taste. His sense of taste and his execution in phrasing are what truly impresses me. Plus he's just the nicest, most level-headed, down-to-earth regular guy you could meet.

Is that enough praise? There are many other awesome guys too deserving of admiration, but Biller is my favorite all-around musician in Austin.
