Thank you Brother Sonny. We did have a jam session and it was a good one. Big "Thank Yous" to Roger Edgington, Bill McCumber, Dave Goodman, Ken Metcalf, Mark Moseley, Mike Esther, and Stephen Cowell for their steel guitar playing.Even yours truly stumbled through a song this month. Our band did a fine job with Ken Piper on fiddle, guitar, and vocals, Mark Moseley on guitar, Jim Blakey on lead guitar, Nancy Kohzer on fiddle, Brian Folks on drums, Mike Quillian and Ben Price on bass, and Mike Bercitis filling in on lead. Thank you goes to Brian and Carol Folks for using their camera and making dvds that I burn and offer for sale at the jam sessions for 1.00
We want to once again Thank's to the American Legion in Converse for all they do for us. They put out a good meal, free popcorn, and we also have the canteen at our disposal for a charge. We hope everyone enjoyed the afternoon.

It was indeed a bodacious event. Many fine musicians displayed their skills. Also deserving of appreciation are the numerous designated drivers who were in attendance. The patience and tolerance of the Converse Police department was certainly a blessing, Only a few did not fail to miss it.

Joe, I go by both names but usually Mike around San Antonio. So, stick with Mike.
James is what always showed up on name tags when I had jobs so I stopped fighting it.
Its James Michael Quillian so either name is fine and I don't care.
