I have already had several people ask for directions so here they are.
If traveling I-57 from the north turn right off the ramp at exit 77 (Illinois 154) and left if coming from the south. A short distance, half mile??? turn right at the sign that reads "Wayne Fitzgerald State Park" and continue maybe 2 miles to hotel. The number there is 618 629 2211.
In addition to rooms thay have cabins that sleep 7 or more for families or groups.
For more info my # is 419 9642 or go to my website "Bobby Reed.net Thanks.....Bobby

Thanks for adding that Carl. I want you guys to know that some people were quoted the wrong room rate at the Rend Lake Resort Hotel. The rate is $65 + tax not $95. I called the hotel and got it straightened out this morning.Once again tickets are now available. Vendor booths and program ads are also available. Thanks....Bobby 615 419 9642

For those of you who enjoy great vocals with your steel guitar entertainment, we have a wealth of entertainers for you this year. David Chamberlail is a highly sucessful songwriter and singer who has pinned such #1 hits as "What's Going On In Your World"(George Strait),"Am I Blue" (George Strait),"Have I Got Some Blues For You"(Charlie Pride), "Without You What Do I Do With Me"( Tanya Tucker) and too many other major cuts to list here.He will be there performing his hite and others. Amber Martin, maybe the greatest female singer I've ever heard live will be there. Tom Campbell, Ron Head, Dottie Jack and other great singers will also be on hand.
Don't miss the great guitarist "Rodney Crisp" who will be staff this year along with Rick Boyer and Rick Vanuagh. He is UNBELIEVEABLE!
Thanks to all and see you there.....Bobby 615 419 9642

Howdy Bill;
It's not a question of you ability. If that was a requirement I wouldn't show up myself. It's time that is the issue. I have one Friday spot left but you told me before you couldn't make it on Friday.I have had several calls for spots and I intend to honor as many as time will allow. Saturday has a waiting list already. If you want that last Friday spot let me know. Thanks Bill for your interest and support....Bobby

Billy,
It's between Benton and Mt. Vernon just west off I-57.
It's about 6 miles north of Benton, turn on 154 west.
That's Rend Lake, and Wayne Fitzgerrell State Park.

Made my reservation at the resort. It will be good to see my old friends again and maybe meet some new ones. After all I am mostly Irish and know no strangers.

I have a better mileage estimate than what I posted before. Turning west off I-57 (exit77) it is 2 miles to the park enterence. Turn right and it is about 2.3 miles to the hotel.
If interested in booking rooms at the resort hotel I would do so soon as it is not a huge hotel. However they also have cabins and other rentals there. There are also several motels in both Benton (exit 71) and Mt Vernon ( exit 95).
Thanks again and hope to see you there. For more info call 615 419 9642....Bobby
