Sitar bar - thanx to Jerry Roller & Earl Foote...

Post by Rex Thomas »

I just wanted to post my thanks to Jerry Roller for his right on the money suggestion to mill down a flat side to a spare bar instead of trying to chase one of these flat sided bars down. Fortunately, I have a close friend that was able to get that done for me, and not only was the job highly professional, but it was just right for great sustain & "twer" factor (lack of better description). Thanx Jerry, that was the way to do it!
Also, thanx to Earl Foote for his offer to send his sitar bar in time to make my call. I really appreciate that consideration.

I bought this bar a long time ago and really had no application for it. I take it to a gig once in a blue moon just to get a laugh out of the other musicians. Glad you got it worked out.
